This is what Hanson has been upto for the last few years. Here you can donate money to go to five different causes, ranging from a pair of shoes, to drilling wells for drinking water, to building a school.
This is an article by Mike McCormack, and I really think it’s important for everyone to read this. Also, please, pass this article on to everyone you know. I didn’t know anything about this until reading this article, and I’m sure that there are many others out there who also don’t know about it.
I hope everyone has a good New Years. Joel and I are hanging out at home being super cool. I’m kind of glad school is starting up soon. I don’t know what to do with all this time on my hands.
We just got some… interesting news that will pretty much sever any ties with Joel’s mother for the time being. She makes the stupidest choices sometimes, and we’re tired of hearing about them. Last time she did this she ended up $40,000 in the hole, for nothing. She had to sell her house for way cheaper than she bought it for and is now paying for it.
Joel and I have been discussing our plans for the future. We don’t know where we will be in the next 6 months to a year. He graduates in Spring, and I’ll graduate in Fall. I’m hoping to continue my education, possibly at UW, but I don’t know for sure. I think I could get in. My GPA is 3.78. Anyway, possible locations for us in the foreseeable future are: The Seattle-area, California, or New Zealand. All depends on where Joel ends up getting a job. I’d like to stay in Washington, but New Zealand sounds fun. If only for a few years. I don’t think we’d ever live abroad permanently.
